Mildred "Middy" M. Knowles, age 99, of Cedar Glen Homes, Manchester, formerly of Wickatunk, Marlboro and Louisa, VA, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Middy will be remembered as a lifelong caretaker of all family members, as well as all creatures. She was also a member of the United Church of Christ in Toms River for many years.
Middy was predeceased by her devoted husband Robert C. Knowles in 2005. She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Knowles of Red Bank, NJ, her 3 three grandchildren, Beth Hochberg of Red Bank, NJ, Betsy Knowles-Miller and her husband Robbie of Brick, NJ and Kenny Knowles and his wife Lauren of Winnabow, NC, her two great grandchildren, Shane Knowles and Haley Knowles, her nephew Charlie Almind and nieces, Eileen Rochniak and Linda Nance.
A visitation for Mildred will be held Sunday, November 19, 2023, from 2 to 5 pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. A funeral service will be held from 10 to 10:30 am at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery on Monday, November 20, 2023.
