

Phyllis M. Kuppler, 74, of Whiting, NJ, passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Phyllis was the oldest daughter of Frank and Concetta LoPiccolo. She graduated from Bishop Kearney High School and worked at FW Woolworth in NYC for many years, where she met the love of her life, John. John and Phyllis married in 1973 and moved to East Brunswick, NJ, in 1979, where they lived for 35 years until moving to Whiting, NJ in 2011.
Phyllis was a loving and devoted mother to her children, Jessica and John. She was very involved throughout their childhood and active with the Girl Scouts, serving as a leader and running the council. At 40 years old, Phyllis returned to school and received her bachelor’s degree with Honors from Rutgers University and started pursuing her Master’s Degree. Following her graduation, she worked for MOL America in Edison, NJ, as an accountant. She was a talented cook and baker who loved sharing her passion for cooking (and delicious Julia Child recipes) with her family. Phyllis loved her family unconditionally and will be greatly missed.
Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Concetta LoPiccolo and her sister Maria Jablonski. She is survived by her devoted husband, John W. Kuppler, her dear children; Jessica Koven and her husband Jonathan, and John Paul Kuppler and his wife Ainsley, her cherished grandchildren; Katherine, William, Charlotte, Cole and Quinn, brother and sisters; Frank LoPiccolo, Susan Buffone, Francesca DeVito and Madeline Marchica, as well as many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 3-7 pm and Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 10-11 am, with a funeral service to start at 11 am, all at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Burial Park and Mausoleum, Jamesburg, NJ.
