

Raymond Coppage, 60, of Manchester, NJ was called home to the Lord on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at his home. Born in Halifax, NC, he lived in Lakewood for many years before he moving to Manchester 8 years ago. Raymond was a 1969 graduate of Lakewood High School. He has worked for 34 years as a supervisor for NAVAIR in Lakehurst, NJ, before retiring in 2004. He was a coach of the Black Butterflies Drill Team and member of the Royal Counts. He was predeceased by his parents, Mark and Ethel Coppage, his sister Dorothy Daniels, and his brother Paul Coppage. Raymond is survived by his wife Lestra (nee Selby) Coppage; his children, Montel, Lisa, Raymond Jr. and his wife Nikki, and Camille; his five grandchildren; his brothers and sister, Mary Tally (Melvin), Jean Harrington, Archie Coppage (Gloria), Wilson Coppage and Ann Lampkin; his best friend, Irving, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours are Friday, February 5, from 7-9 PM at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd (Rt. 571), Manchester, NJ 08759.
