Richard Joseph Lobosco, 80, of Manchester, New Jersey, passed away on August 26, 2026. Born March 22, 1946, in Jersey City, NJ, Richard lived a life marked by steady kindness, quiet strength, and a deep regard for others. Rich grew up there and then moved to Middletown, and to Brick before finally settling down in Leisure Knoll in Manchester, NJ, where he and his wife Liz, enjoyed many of the amenities there. Rich was a die hard Yankee fan.
Those who knew Richard will remember a compassionate man whose care for people was expressed not in grand gestures, but in consistent presence and sincere concern. He carried himself with loyalty and devotion—someone others could depend on, who showed up, listened closely, and placed the needs of those around him before his own.
Rich was a man that wore many hats. He worked in several industries, but working as an auto salesman was one of the jobs he did very well. He enjoyed life and loved spending time with his family.
Rich is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Elizabeth "Lizzy" nee Cagliuso, his son Ricky, daughter, Cindy and his stepdaughter, who Rich considered his daughter, Nancy, his six cherished grandchildren; Rich, Nicole, Jeffrey, Allie, Lindsay and Arianna, who Rich considered his granddaughter, and and his six dear great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Rich will be held at the Anderson & Campbell, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ, 08759, on September 19, 2026, from 2-4 pm.
Richard will be remembered with gratitude and respect, and his life will be honored through the enduring love and memories he leaves behind.
Richard’s life reflected selflessness in the everyday ways that matter most: in the patience he offered, the support he gave without hesitation, and the enduring commitment he showed to the people and place he called home. His absence will be felt deeply, and his memory will be held with gratitude and respect.
