Wanda Marie Bussey

Wanda Marie Bussey, age 58, of Franklin Township, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 9, 2023. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and grew up in New Jersey. Wanda honorably served her country in the United States Army, where she was stationed in Germany and at the US Military Academy at West Point. She worked as a billing clerk for Aculabs, Inc. in East Brunswick, NJ. Wanda enjoyed her work, serving as an usher at her church, and loved spending time with and sharing a meal with her family. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday.

Wanda was predeceased by her daughter Jessica Harrison and her sister Cynthia L. (Bussey) Holland. She is survived by her sons; Sahib Justin Matias and Jordan Harrison, her parents; Henry and Shirley Bussey, her siblings; Cory A. Bussey and his wife Heida Jonsson and Patricia (Trish) Bussey Jeter and her husband Elpidio A. Jeter, her nieces; Lilly Bussey, Gabrielle Holland, Cristiana Holland and Cassandra Holland Childress and her nephews; Myles Bussey and Oliver Bussey. Wanda also leaves behind an extended family consisting of many cherished uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Wanda will be held Friday, February 24, 2023, from 11 am to 12 pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. Following the Celebration of Life will be a private committal service with military honors at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.

We want to express our sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks to the dedicated team at the VA Lyons Hospice Center as well as others in the medical community who helped Wanda fight her cancer battle courageously.
