Willie leaves behind a legacy of strength, laughter, and transformation that touched those around him.
He was a man of many roles and many lives. Over the years, he was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, husband, uncle, cousin, and loyal friend. He was known for his passion and work ethic—as a carpenter, athlete, quad rider, Eagles fan, and a lover of old-school music, often played at full volume.
He was spirited and stubborn, funny and dependable—a man whose smile and lovingly teasing nature could light up any room. But perhaps most memorably, in his later years, Willie became a humble, faith-filled man who shared the Word of God.
Willie is survived by his beloved daughters, Ariele Tillery and Briana Parrish; his cherished grandchildren, Kaliyah Parrish, Avery, Rodney III and Adrian Tillery, Mahogany and Tinnley Wilder; his siblings, Alma Terri Parrish and Rodinal Dana Parrish; and his former wife of 25 years, Tara Parrish. He is also remembered fondly by his pastor, a host of cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Willie was predeceased by his daughter, Kya Nicole Parrish and his parents, William and Gloria Parrish.
A memorial service for Willie will be held Friday, September 5, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759.
