

She was born on April 7, 1923 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to Charles and Mary Frances (Italiano) Marti. She lived and raised her children in Mansfield and Lucas, Ohio. Most recently, she lived at The Waterford of Mansfield. Her love for the Lord, family and cooking were her greatest joys. She worked as a cashier most of her adult life. Amelia was a member of Cook Road Baptist Church and most recently New Testament Baptist in Ravenna, Ohio.
She is survived by her three children, Rodney C. (Ronda) Panyik of Alamos, Mexico, Neil A. (Debra) Panyik of Butler, Ohio and Melinda S. (Michael) Anthony of Ridgeley, West Virginia; four grandchildren, Decon (Cherie) Gerhart, Tiffany (Jim) McWatters, Romnee (Ely) Reyes and Rhagen Panyik; and five great-grandchildren, Aaron Gerhart, Amber and Cameron McWatters, and Isabella and Xander Reyes.
Friends and family may visit from 10:00-11:00 am on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Earl Eiklor officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park.
