Angel Gregory Thompson Jr., age 86, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026. He was born on August 25, 1938, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Angel G. Thompson Sr. and Lucy (Zapp) Thompson.
Angel was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he dedicated many years of faithful service to General Motors, from which he later retired.
Angel was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley J. (Scott) Thompson, who passed away in 2020, as well as his parents.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services observed.
