Ann Ernst

Ann Sirbeck Ernst, 85, of Mansfield. died Sunday, September 17, 2000 at home after a brief illness. Mrs. Ernst was born October 14, 1914 in Brooklyn, New York to Ernest J. & Mary Johnston Sirbeck. She has lived in Mansfield since 1918 and graduated from Mansfield Senior High School. She retired from the Mansfield City Schools in 1977 and was affiliated with The Mansfield Federation of Women, A.A.R.P. #718, Ruth Chapter #17 Order of Eastern Star and Lexington Senior Citizens. Mrs. Ernst was also a charter member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Her favorite past times were playing cards, reading and family.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Charles Eberly of Birmingham, Michigan; and two grandsons, Ted Eberly of Center Line, Michigan and Andrew Eberly of Birmingham, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Robert L. Ernst in 1987.

Friends may call the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church conducted by Rev. Dr. George Lambert and Rev. Dr. Wray C. Smith. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.
