Annie P. Whitfield Mayer, 93, of Sylvester, Georgia died Wednesday, February 13, 2002 at Sylvester Health Care in Sylvester, Georgia. Mrs. Mayer was born August 28, 1908 in Paulding County, Georgia living in the Mansfield area from 1941 until moving to Georgia in 1987. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and AARP.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas & Lilly White Thomason Whitfield; and her husband, Carl Mayer.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to funeral services to be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Lon McSherley. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.
