Arnold Barnett

Arnold Barnett, age 75, went home to be with our Lord and Savior early Saturday morning, September 15, 2012. Mr. Barnett was born in Morgan County, Kentucky. He retired from Crane Plumbling (Artesian) in 1988. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, tinkering, and being outdoors. Mr. Barnett also enjoyed bluegrass and country music.

He is survived by his loving wife with whom he spent almost 25 years and whom he adored, Marcella Barnett. Also surviving him is daughter, Marilyn (Carl) Thompson; sons, Mark (Maggie) Barnett and Johnny (Kristi) Rose; step son, Tim Rose; step daughters, Laurie Oakley and Sandra “Missy” (Jerry) Blevins; 22 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brother, James (Carmen) Barnett; sisters, Fearl Jean (Victor) Owens, Helen Peters, Wanda Keeton, Shirley (Philip) Baldridge, Brenda (Paul) Jones, and Ruth (Terry) Coggins; and close friends Fredrick Holt and Elmer Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Liza (Blair) Barnett; first wife, Elizabeth (Gibson) Barnett; three brothers, Mervill, Vernon, and Ernest Barnett; and a beloved son, Michael G. Barnett.

Friends may call Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Ontario.
