

Ashlie was a fun loving girl with a contagious laugh. She knew no stranger and always made people feel comfortable. Ashlie had a great faith in God and was a good mother to her son.
Ashlie had a big heart and enjoyed her time with Teen Challenge. Ashlie lost her hard fought battle with addiction. She tried so hard to beat her addiction and her family knew she was doing her best. She will be remembered for far more than her struggles in this life.
She is survived by her son, Apollo Thackrah; mother, Lisa Weidner; her father and step-mother, Joel (Cindy) Thackrah; a sister, Raine Weidner of Columbus, Ohio; her Nana and Papa, Gaylene (Gus) Peter of Mansfield; her uncle, Troy Peter; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Albert and Stella Thackrah; maternal grandparents, Viloa (Lawrence) Pop; and her Oma, Catherine Peter.
There will be a memorial service in honor of Ashlie on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 6:00-7:00 p.m at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Ashlie's memory to Teen Challenge - Starfish Project of Richland County, 9 North Mulberry Street, Mansfield, Ohio 44902.
