Audrey Hill

Audrey Hill, 84, passed away Friday morning, June 17, 2011 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. She had been a resident of Mifflin Care Center for the past three years. Born March 13, 1927 in Albany, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Joseph and Wilhelmina Classen Stueve. She was a member of St. Mary of the Snows Catholic Church. Audrey retired from North American Knitting Mill after 25 years of service. An excellent seamstress, she created numerous counted cross stitch masterpieces. She showered her love and attention on her family and treated them to her wonderful baked goods. Audrey enjoyed traveling in her spare time.

She is survived by three children, Charlotte Michael Peerenboom of Mansfield, Connie Letizia of Rock Hill, SC and Chuck Suzanna Hill of Holly Springs, NC; nine grandchildren, Michelle Ted Wood of Ft. Washington, PA, David Faith Peerenboom of Dayton, Brian Brenda White of Rock Hill, SC, Thomas Brenda White of Colorado Springs, CO, Jonathan Carrie White of Rock Hill, SC, Jennifer Paul Hasenauer of Mansfield, Christina Roger Barnes of Bucyrus, Anthony Lisa White of Johns Island, SC and Casey David Kalal of Alamagordo, NM; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; a sister, Bernice Robert Baker of Mansfield; and many nieces and nephews. Audrey was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph L. White; son, Thomas White; parents; and son-in-law, Joseph Letizia.

Friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road with a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Snows, Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. with Father Nelson Beaver officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.
