Barbara Norris Ball, 92, of Indianapolis, IN, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at Community Hospital North, Indianapolis, IN. Born November 25, 1915, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Carrie E. and Nellie M. Swihart Norris. Mrs. Ball was retired from Westinghouse and a member of Community Bible Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Joan John Allison of Chicago, IL and Janice Lowell Jackman of Indianapolis, IN; seven grandchildren, Pam Evans, Penny Martin, Tim, Tom and Ted Miller, Joel Allison and Jill White; thirteen great grandchildren; and one sister, Adith Karbula of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Estel H. Ball on March 23, 1992; a daughter, Gayle Joyce; seven brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2007, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors conducted by Rev. Larry Meyerchin. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions are made to Community Bible Church.
