Barbara Bowman

Barbara JoAnne Pryor Kochheiser Bowman, 62, of 2732 Flag Lane, Reynoldsburg, Ohio died Wednesday, April 18, 2001 at Mt. Carmel East Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. Mrs. Bowman was born October 6, 1938 in Sullivan, Ohio living most of her life in the Mansfield area. She was retired from Lexford Properties. She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Columbus and Women of the Moose. Mrs. Bowman was a wonderful wife and mother who will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest E. 'Earl' Bowman, whom she married December 31, 1976; a daughter, April L. Kochheiser of Cardington, Ohio; two sons, Richard W. 'Ric' Kochheiser of Louisville, Kentucky and Christopher M. 'Chris' Kochheiser of Mansfield; five stepsons, Ernie L. Bowman of San Antonio, Texas, Kenny E. Bowman of Augusta, Georgia, Russell J. Bowman of Charleston, South Carolina, John E. Bowman of Hamersville, Ohio, and Dwight E. Bowman of Shelby; 14 grandchildren, Sarah , Madelin 'Maddy', Amber, Keeley, Kayla, Evlin, Mary, Sharon, J.J., Nicole, Kimberly, Jessica, Rebecca, and Heather; her mother, Bernadine Baker Pryor; and three sisters, Linda Hornyak of Ontario, and Marcia Stake and Elaine Weber, both of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her father, William R. Pryor.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Eddie Bare.
