Barbara Donaldson

Barbara C. Chase Donaldson, 79, of 528 St Rt 314 S died at home Sunday morning, September 30, 2001 after an extended illness. Mrs. Donaldson was born August 12, 1922 in Hinsdale, Illinois living in the Mansfield area since 1969. She attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri 2 years and graduated from the University of Colorado. She was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Society, the Richland Lithic Lapidary Society, the Ontario Newcomers and Neighbors, and the New Pittsburg, Ohio Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Donaldson of Mansfield; three sons and daughters-in-law, R. Scott & Sally Donaldson of Bellville, Alan & Janice Donaldson of Bucyrus and Gordon Donaldson of Mansfield; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Olson of Downers Grove, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon P. & Marie Bollinger Chase.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Memorial contributions may be made to North Central Ohio Hospice.
