Belva J. Dunn Workman, 69, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born June 14, 1940 in Dubois, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Craig J. and Martha Harriger Dunn. She retired as a lab tech from Mansfield General Hospital in 1998 and later volunteered in the gift shop. Belva enjoyed visiting many garage sales and flea markets, and especially liked antiques and glassware. She also enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by one son, Bruce M. Workman, Jr. of Mansfield; one daughter, Cheryl Workman of Oxford, Ohio; granddaughter, Amber Workman; sister, Kathleen Choo; and niece, Ellen Choo. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Christopher Thomas. Burial will follow the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or the Salvation Army.
