Betty Jane Gilmore, 78, 937 Becky Dr., died Thursday afternoon August 9, 2001 at Mifflin Care Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Gilmore was born August 11, 1922 in Uhrichsiville, Ohio. She resided in the Mansfield area since 1963. She was formerly employed as a credit manager with Montgomery Ward. She was a member of Grace Episcopal and loved her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth Gilmore; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Donna Gilmore Jr. of San Jose', Cal., Timothy and Sandra Gilmore of Willard, Oh., and Gregory and Paula Gilmore of Wadsworth, Oh.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Marjorie Garrett Galbrath and her daughter, Linda Gilmore.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Sunday, August 12 from 2-4 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. David Sipes. Burial will follow in Ontario Cemetery.
