Betty Grogg

Betty E. Grogg, 85, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Country Meadows Care Center. Born October 12, 1920, in Mansfield, to Cecil and Irene Yarger Minard. She was an area homemaker her entire life and enjoyed helping her husband, Clarence 'Shorty' with his business, C & B Auction. Betty truly loved all her grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Judy James Larimore of Mansfield; two sons, Gary Carol Grogg of Mansfield, and Michael Joyce Grogg of Lakeland, Fla.; six grandchildren, Shelly Charles Rinehart of Mt. Gilead, Roxane Larimore and Christine Jones, both of Westerville; Heidi Daniel Fry of Mt. Gilead, Debra Larry Wiles and Barbara Mark Gombosch, all of Mansfield; nine great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Grogg, son, Donald Grogg, and parents.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Monday, July 17 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services conducted by Pastor Beverly Hall will be held Tuesday at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Washington Township Fire Department.
