Betty J. Dunham Bond Luttrell, age 79, of Mansfield, died Tuesday evening, August 17, 2004, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a long illness. Ms. Luttrell was born April 12, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan living in the Mansfield area for the past 50 years. She had worked for Hartman Electric for 20 years. Ms. Luttrell was a longtime resident of Parkersburg, West Virginia and enjoyed singing, fishing, cooking and sewing.
Surviving are three sons, Kurtis Bond; William 'Bill' McNeer both of Mansfield and Robert 'Bobby' Dunham of California; a daughter, Kim Bond Shoubaki of Mansfield; grandchildren, Andre, Chasity, Stewart, Lincoln, and Angie; seven great-grandchildren; and her former husbands, Curtis Bond and Wyman Luttrell. She was preceded in death by her parents, William & Maude Lemons Sprowels Miller.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m., conducted by Brother Leon Bond. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
