Betty J. Seymour, 83, of Mansfield died early Sunday morning, January 19, 2003 at her home. Mrs. Seymour was born February 23, 1919 in Mansfield to George A. and Birdie Croft Hoffman and was an area resident most of her life. She was employed as a secretary with Earick-Wolf Insurance until her retirement in 1980. Betty formerly attended First Baptist Church in Meadeville, Pennsylvania.
She is survived by six nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard P. Seymour; her parents, George and Birdie Hoffman; a brother, Albert Arnold; and six sisters, Dorothy Finney, Kathryn Ackerman, Mildred McPhern, Adeline Channel, Esther Fisher, and Mary Forrest.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, January 23. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m., conducted by Rev. Carl Cunfer. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
