Betty J. Sharp, 85, of Mansfield died Sunday morning January 8, 2006 at Med Central Mansfield. Betty was born December 29, 1920 to Herman & Ruby Grier Potts. She retired from Westinghouse after 38 years and attended Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall.
Betty is survived by nephew, Russell & Lavina Messimer and four nieces Marian McLaughlin, Lisa Ann Hall, Shelley Metheney and Sharon Kline and one nephew Jeffrey Allen Messimer and his wife Kelley and a great grand nephew Lane Harr; all of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Earl Sharp; two sisters, Helen Messimer & Evelyn McLaughlin; brother Mearl Potts and nephew Robert McLaughlin.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Tuesday January 10, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Brother CharlesWise. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
