Bill R. Sparks, 58, of Galion died Saturday, August 14, 2004 at home after an extended illness. Bill was born June 5, 1946 in Morehead, Kentucky to Olive Adkins Sparks and the late Virgil Sparks. Bill was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Beth Sparks of Galion; two granddaughters, Huntir and Alaina Sparks of Galion; companion, Betty Carpenter; mother, Olive Sparks of Crestline; three sisters, Virginia Honeycutt and Joyce Parsons both of Mansfield, and Christine Floyd of Crestline; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sparks; and two sisters, Betty Hamilton and Juanita Gallahoo.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday, August 17, 2004 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral services, conducted by Rev.
