Bill was born on June 8, 1940 in Hitchens, Kentucky. He was the son of John and Mary Hay Caudill. Bill married the love of his life, Wanda who he affectionately referred to as “Buddy” on November 27, 1960 and shared 61½ years of marriage together. Bill worked at Ohio Brass for 23 years and Cannon & Sline for 13 years where he retired and both were part of the Plasters Union. Bill led by example and taught his boys how to be hard working, God fearing men. He showed unconditional love and opened his home to anyone who needed a loving family, to Bill blood did not make you family. Bill was very talented and carved many unique wood pieces that will be treasured by his family for many generations. If you wanted his opinion, you should be prepared because he was going to be 100% percent honest with you even if it hurt for a minute.
Bill will be dearly missed by his children, Billy (Cindy) Caudill, Joey (Lindy) Caudill, Charles Randy Caudill, and James (Angie) Caudill, and the daughter I never had, Lynn (Jim) Fuchs; “Grandad” to his grandchildren, Ashley (Ryan) Stewart, Johnathan Caudill, Ricky (Shannon) Caudill, Josh Caudill, Nikki Caudill, Sammi (Tyler) Bellomy, and Katie (Randy) Sutter; his great-grandchildren, Caden, Mason, Taylor, Alissa, Grayson, Kylie, Emery, and Rowen; his brother, John Arlon Caudill; and many nieces, nephews and family.
