
Bobbie T. Sanders, age 75, of Mansfield, died Saturday evening at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Sanders was born April 13, 1932 in Cleburne, TX to Charley and Irena Jones Sanders, and has lived in the Mansfield area most of his life. Bobbie was retired from General Motors and was a member of Lincoln Heights Baptist Church. He was a veteran serving in the U. S. Army.
Surviving are his wife, Janice Sanders; two daughters, Brenda Denslow of Shelby and James Powers of Mansfield, Linda Worden and Doug Bowman both of Mansfield; three step-children, Debra Anderson of Mansfield, Richard Blackford of Mansfield, Dianne Shearer of Ashland; and grandchildren, John Worden of Mansfield, Pamela Worden of Mansfield, Heather Bradley and Dale Guernsey both of Loudonville, Holly Shreffler of Shelby, Brent Anderson of Florida, Tonya Simones of Ontario, Ryan Anderson of Mansfield, Tish Kramer of Polk, Rana Graff of Ashland, Micki Blackford of Mansfield, Sara Jean Walker of Akron, and James Blackford of Mansfield; seventeen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son Bobby Gene Sanders.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and also one hour prior to the funeral services. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., conducted by Pastor Mike Wilson. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lincoln Heights Baptist Church Building Fund.
