Bonnie Weber

Bonnie Weber, 62, of Newark, Ohio, formerly of Ashland, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Sharon Brooke Assisted Living in Newark. Born September 1, 1956 in Oberlin, Ohio, she was the daughter of Gerald Ray and Gladys (Van Scyoc) Weber.

Bonnie retired from Ashland University and the YMCA and loved to read and travel. She was a member of Forget Me Not Garden Club and volunteered at Samaritan Hospital in Ashland.

She is survived by two sisters, Helen Weber and Nancy Weber both of Newark; a brother, James Weber; a nephew, Steven (Linda) Weber of Ashland; a niece, Stephanie (Kyle) Baughman of Newark; and a great nephew and niece, Bryce and Tori Baughman of Newark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Weber and Bobby Weber; and four sisters, Thelma Weber, Glenna Weber, Velma Weber and Dessie Weber.

A gathering for family and friends will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue, Ashland. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2018 at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Donald Earlenbaugh.
