

He retired from Therm-O-Disc after 31 years of service and had a special comaraderie with his fellow Sports Club of Therm-O-Disc members and enjoyed tasting the variety of different game offered at the Wild Game Dinners. He was a member of the Sons of Herman and enjoyed his special trips with his dad to NASCAR races in Indianapolis and to Maine for fishing.
He is survived by his father, Jacob (Marian) King; two brothers, Gary King and Wayne (Debbie) King; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley King and step mother, Ruth King.
Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2016 at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Kent Joy. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church.
