Brent Perkins

Born March 23, 1966 in Mansfield, he was the son of James S. and Shirley (Smith) Perkins. He was the owner of Showroom Shine Auto Center and loved working on cars. A very giving person, Brent was willing to help anyone out and enjoyed photography but he was most passionate about his children as he would do anything in the world for them.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Theresa (Baker) Perkins; his children, Justin James Perkins and Caitlin Marie Perkins both of the home; his mother and step father, Shirley (Chuck) Day of Mansfield; two sisters, Christine Perkins-Sanderfer of Mansfield and Carrie Jacobs of Ontario; a brother-in-law, Mike Baker of Mt. Vernon; and nieces and nephews, Logan Perkins, Caleb Perkins, Keirsten Sanderfer, Lily Sanderfer, Alexis Sprague, Mason Jacobs, Briánne Miller and Ashley Fischer. He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2012 at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Don Matolyak. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
