
Brett was born on December 2, 1986 in Warren, Ohio. His mom is Linda L. Marsh of Mansfield. His Dad Rev. J. Terry Marsh passed in '04.
Brett learned at an early age how to travel, move and adjust to life. A Lexington teacher said of Brett, 'Through struggles and challenges in his life, Brett has successfully pressed on. He is a great role model to his peers and he is a good example of perseverance.' Brett loved to play baseball and did so everywhere we lived including on the 8th grade super team at Lexington High School where he graduated in '05. His humor and the attitude to be himself are his trademarks. While in high school he was in the Show Choir the showman that he was. He had attended and was a counselor at Camp Christian, attended Harmony Camp. He was a member of First Christian Church in Mansfield. Brett also graduated from Ohio School of Broadcasting.
While in Mansfield, Brett worked at Sweet Basil, Kroger's, BW3's and others. While in Columbus, Brett worked at BW3's and Average Joe's Grill.
Brett is survived by Mom, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceding him in death and preparing the way for him was his Dad and maternal & paternal grandparents.
As Brett prepares for his final move'There will be graveside services at Hillside Cemetery, Cortland, OH Trumbull County on Saturday, June 12 at 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at First Christian Church in Mansfield on Sunday, June 13 at 10:30 a.m. Both are open to any and all. Memorial contributions may be given to the family, First Christian Church in Mansfield or the American Diabetes Association.
