
Brian Scott Bartman, 26, of 2445 Stiving Road died unexpectedly Monday, December 3, 2001. Mr. Bartman was born April 4, 1975 in Canton, Ohio living in the Mansfield area most of his life. He was a self-employed flooring contractor with Washington Floors. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, four-wheeling, hunting, shooting and flying with family and friends. He had his student flying license. He attended Grace Evangelical Free Church. Brian was a loving husband and father and special friend to his nephews and nieces and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Brian went home to be with the Lord. He is survived by his wife, Michele L. Norris Bartman of Mansfield; a son, Kage Scott Bartman at home; his parents, Gerald & Carol J. Neale Bartman of Mansfield; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald K. Bartman of Mansfield, Kevin D. & Julie Bartman of Lakeland, Florida, and Keith D. & Jamie Bartman of Mansfield; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lisa A. & Max Moore of Mansfield and Tina M. & Charles Cornish of Cincinnati; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; his father-in-law and step mother-in-law, Mike & Kathy Norris of Ashland; his mother-in-law, Yong Nan Norris and her friend, Leon of Mansfield; grandparents-in-law, Laverne & Lucille Norris of Mansfield; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Stephanie Rawlings and Bobbi & Corbin Magistro, all of Mansfield; a half brother-in-law Michael Norris of Ashland; a half sister-in-law, Samantha Norris of Ashland; a half step sister-in-law, Shannon Dewitt of Ashland; close friends, R.T. Mong of Mansfield, Trevin Hollon of South Carolina and Carlos Hood of Mansfield; and his church family. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Julius T. & Anna E. Bartman; and maternal grandparents, Edwin E. & Margaret E. Neale.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Evangelical Free Church, 536 Kentucky Avenue, conducted by Pastor Dennis Nezrick and Rev. Arlington B. Stilwell. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of Brian.
