Brittany Eater

Brittany Ann Eater, 20, of Cincinnati, formerly of Mansfield, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 12, 2006, in Cincinnati. Born June 21, 1985, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, she was the daughter of David Eater and Tonya Rice Johnson. Brittany was a 2003 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School where she was an honor student and was currently attending the University of Cincinnati. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and was working as a Home Health Nurse. She loved animals especially cats and helping people.

Surviving are her mother and step father, Tonya and Joseph Johnson of Mansfield; her father, David Eater of Marion; her step mother, Kelli Eater of Mansfield; her grandparents, Cheryl and Harold Horn of Mansfield, Walt and Linda Rice of Perrysville, Jim and Bonnie Johnson of Mansfield and Edrick and Karen Eater of Witchita, KS; her great grandmother, June Rice of Mansfield; four brothers, Derek Johnson, Brendan Eater, Jaret Eater and Ethan Eater all of Mansfield; and several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Mildred and Henry Nikolaus and David Rice.

Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2006 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2006, at the funeral home with Pastor Bonnie Peltomaa officiating. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
