Candace J. Renz, 56, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital from complications of pneumonia. Born August 24, 1952 in Columbus, she was the daughter of Richard and Jean Wilson McGlaughlin. She was a graduate of Ontario High School and started her family right away, and several years later, moved her girls to Dallas, TX. Candace returned to Mansfield in 1998 to be closer to her family, had worked for 10 years with Mama's Touch of Italy and recently worked as a manager of Buck's Bar and Grill. A hard worker, she never missed a day of work and she kept an impeccable home. Everyone was a friend and she was always there to help someone in need. Candace loved being with her grandchildren and they knew their "GG" would do anything to make them happy. She was our best friend and we will all miss her dearly.
She is survived by three daughters, Carrie Andy Stehle, Patty Todd Green, all of Mansfield, and Jo Ann Dearman Dean Kastran of Ontario; grandchildren, Tyler, Nicholas, Alex, Corbin, Mason, Michael, Jaiden, and Jonah; two brothers, Rick McGlaughlin of Illinois, and Michael McGlaughlin of Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Linda Don Caudill of Ontario, and Penny Liberty Vance of Washington; host of nieces and nephews; and special friend, Joe Carmel of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandson, Robbie Jablonowski.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the Apostolic Christian Church Fellowship Hall, 305 Hanley Rd., Mansfield conducted by Erwin Webel.
