Carol Jean Brewer

Carol enjoyed crochet, reading, fishing, listening to country music, completing word searches and watching the Hallmark Channel. More than anything, she enjoyed being a mom and caring for her children. She was a member of V.F.W. Post # 3494.

She is survived by her children, Brian (Denise) Brewer, Rebecca (Hugh) Sly, Bruce (Shelly) Brewer, Bradley (Dena) Brewer, and Roberta Brewer; grandchildren, Bethany (Kevin) Cuthbertson, Brandon Brewer, and Brooklyn Brewer; two sisters and a brother, Betty (Earl) Brewer, Ruth (Ray) Harris, and Jim (Sue) Clinage; niece and caregiver, Jenny Brewer; and many more nieces, nephews and loving family members.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ransom "Luke" Brewer; brother, Robert Clinage; sister, Helen Clinage; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Corn Brewer; nephew, Earl Brewer, Jr.; parents, James and Josephine Clinage; and numerous aunts and uncles.

The family will welcome friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with family friend, Mr. William Noble officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
