Catherine Civay

Margaret Civay, 82, died Sunday morning November 3, 2002 at Lexington Court Nursing Home following an extended illness. Margaret was born July 27, 1920 in Ashland, Ohio to Samuel Leo & Catherine Breneman Witmer. Margaret enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary Edward & Elizabeth Civay and Ron & Maryellen Civay, all of Mansfield; six grandchildren, Scott, Melissa, Ron, Gary, Angie and Cathy Civay; seven great grandchildren, Nathan, Ronnie, Chelsea, Jordan, Matthew Civay, Dakota Raifsnyder and Makayla Lester; four sisters, Eilene Burkholder and Portia Lightfoot both of Ashland, Glenna McMillan of North Carolina and Mary Barber of Wellington; three brothers, Sam Witmer and Dick Witmer both of Ashland and Roger Witmer of Canton; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman in 1987; sister, Jane McCoy and grandson Michael.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Sunday, November 10, 2002 from 2-5 P.M. Following calling hours, the family will receive friends at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 129 N. Main St., Mansfield. There will not be any funeral services. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
