Cathryn Louellen Branam, 61, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born in Mansfield on February 11, 1961 to the late Deke and Sara (Carter) Moore.
Having a heart for others, Cathryn worked for many years as a loving caregiver and home health aide. She loved mushroom hunting, fishing and watching TV, especially Cops and Unsolved Mysteries. She also enjoyed cooking.
She is survived by her companion, Michael Criss; sons, Ricky Branam, Ray Branam and Brian Branam; sisters, Sharon Heer and Pat (Rodney) Garrison; step-sisters, Lori Heefner, Michelle Heefner and Stephanie Heefner; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stillborn daughter; son, Jeremy Branam; brother, Larry Carter; and adopted parents, Ray and Samantha Heefner.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2022 at the Wappner Cremation Center, 1327 Ashland Rd., Mansfield, Ohio 44905. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
