Cedric Daniels

Cedric Daniels, 25, of Mansfield, died November 3, 2015. Born October 15, 1990 in Mansfield, he was the son of Watt Selmon Sr. and Debra Carter. A quiet guy, Cedric had a big heart and would do anything for anyone. His family jokes no piece of cheese was safe from his grasp, as it was his favorite food. Cedric was an excellent uncle and loved his family more than anything.

Surviving are his mother, Debra Carter; sisters, Brianna and Sabrina; brother, Robert; niece, Jabrayiah; nephews, Ben and Janoll Jr.; aunts, Rena and Valerie; uncles, Kevin (Casey) and Braxton (Sharonda); grandfather, Braxton Daniels Sr; special family members, LaKwana Nettles, Dorthy Hawthorne, and Marcee Nettles; and best friends, Qadree, Tyrek, Terrell, and Janoll Sr.

Cedric was preceded in death by his father, Watt Selmon, Sr; grandmother, Bobbie Daniels; maternal grandparents; and paternal grandmother.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield with Pastor Jeff Jones officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
