Chad Anthony Humes, 50, of Bellville, Ohio, sadly passed away on September,18, 2025. He was born September 24, 1974, in Marion, Ohio to Charles Russell Mullins and Marjorie Kay (Corbin) Humes and was later in life adopted by Tim Humes.
Chad had many skills across various trades, he primarily held roles in the tech industry. He was a proud father and a loving husband, who dedicated his time to his family. An avid UFC fan, he enjoyed hosting his family and friends to watch the fights. There was nothing Chad loved more than riding his Harley Davidson with his favorite songs cranked on his custom-made sound system. His giving heart led him to a life of great friends that he could make almost anywhere. Chad used his great mind to be a constant learner, and a constant teacher to those around him.
Chad is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Tanya Humes; children, Preston (Liz Prince) Humes, Peyton (Ashley) Humes; brother Charles “Matt” (Pam) Humes; nephew, Corbin (Emily Gillenwater) Humes, father, Tim Humes; and many cherished family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends are invited to a gathering on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Wappner Funeral Directors. 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield, OH 44902. A time of sharing stories and memories will begin at 3:30 pm.
