A man who was outgoing, strong in his convictions, and a kid at heart certainly would describe Chuck. He was a 1987 graduate of Wynford High School, and was employed as a corrections officer at Marion Correctional and a Lieutenant at Richland Correctional Institution. He served in the United States Army National Guard. He was a hard working, devoted husband and loving father. He loved attending his sons' events and being active in their lives. He took his experience from his high school sports, and put it to work coaching and umpiring for his sons' teams. He loved his family and enjoyed their time spent together. Chuck was loved by everyone he came in contact with, a true people person.
He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating and most of all enjoying a long ride on his motorcycle. He had a love of all animals but walking and relaxing with his dogs was a favorite way to pass the time. Entertaining was one of his favorite past times, you could find him hosting get together's, as he loved to cook, bake and knew his way around the grill. A true workaholic, Chuck was always working, but when he wasn't, he enjoyed attending auctions and cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns.
He leaves behind, his wife of 18 years, Dawn (Noe) Brewer who he married on December 6th; his sons, Garrick and Gavin Montgomery; special niece, Amiah Noe; parents, Sherry (Spence) Black and Tom (Nancy) Diven; siblings, Laurie Al-Salameh, Chris Brewer, Virginia (Jason) Deam, Cassy Brewer, Zach Diven, Ian Diven, Megan Diven, and Stephanie Duncan; nieces and nephews, Kristal, Emily, Zack, Noah, Tommy, Adam, Alicia, Emma, Ethan, and Alena; and a multitude of friends.
