

Chuck was kind, funny, loyal, and loving. He always had a smile on his face, and he was a loving and protective husband, father and grandfather. Chuck enjoyed gardening vegetables, and he always kept up on current events. In his younger days, he enjoyed riding motorcycles. He loved family gatherings where he always made the turkey and dressing. Chuck was a member of the Masons, and he retired, after 36 years of dedicated service, from AK Steel. In his later years, Chuck enjoyed the special times he spent with his sister, Thelma.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Sandra Leadingham; children and grandchildren; many family and friends; five sisters; and three brothers.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Mary Stevens.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. A graveside service, officiated by Rev. Clifford Earl Tackett, will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
