He is survived by his loving wife Marylin Twitchell of 66 years; adoring father to Marc Twitchell and Sheryl Twitchell Schultz; and loving grandfather to Luke & Olivia Twitchell and Evan, Drew, & Blake Schultz, devoted brother to Shirley Twitchell Wilson. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Howard and Estelle Twitchell, and his siblings, Eleanor Twitchell Hatman, Howard Twitchell, Jr., David Twitchell.
He was a longtime member of the Marion Avenue Grace Brethren Church. He was an entrepreneur who strove for excellence in all he did, founding Twitchell Auto Center a business he operated for 36 years.
Friends and relatives may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill, on Friday, June 24, 2016, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Services will follow on Saturday at 2:00 pm officiated by Pastor J. Hudson Thayer. Burial will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park.
