
Charlotte F. McGraw Konves, 70, of Mansfield, died August 25, 2007. She died early Saturday surrounded by her children and siblings at her home. Charlotte was born December 14, 1936 in Rushtown, Ohio, to James and S. Grace McDaniel McGraw. She was a graduate of Portsmouth High School and worked at Goodyear Atomic in Piketon before moving to the Mansfield area. She was employed by Local Loan Co. and retired from Key Bank in 1991 to become the primary caregiver to her husband, Bud.
Surviving are her daughter, Kimberly Ward of Dublin; son, William Lisa Konves of Powell; grandchildren, Dylan, Emma and twins, Will and Charlie; four sisters, Sue Morgan and Helen Perry of Mansfield, Martha Thompson of Mooresville, IN and Jean Frye of Columbus; a host of special nieces and nephews; and her good friend, Isabel Terry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert 'Bud' Konves, three brothers, Donald, Robert and James McGraw; and two sisters, Virginia Totman and Betty Vaughn.
A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 27 in Mansfield Cemetery. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to MedCentral Hospice, 335 Glessner Ave., Mansfield, OH 44903.
