She grew up in Mansfield, Ohio, along with her five siblings. Growing up in a large family, she valued the love of family and the time spent together. She made many treasured memories throughout the years with each and every one of her family. She married the love of her life, Jim Nolen on September 26, 1972. Her husband, children and grandchildren were the most important people in her life. She made breakfast for her husband, Jim, every day. A task she missed doing when she was physically unable anymore.
She was a graduate of Madison High School and Marion Technical College where she earned her Associate Degree as a medical lab technician. She worked at Newman Technologies for almost 10 years. A beautiful woman with a beautiful soul and gentle heart, she always put the needs of others before herself. Charlotte would provide a safe place to stay for anyone in need and her soft-spoken, calm voice provided much needed reassurance. Charlotte had a hearty laugh and loved to share it with others. In her free time, she enjoyed planting her garden, tending her flowers, sewing and cooking.
Charlotte is survived by her loving husband, Jim Nolen; five devoted children, Anna Rosier, Eli Nolen (Evelyn Brady), Holly (Joe) Singer, Heidi (Broc) Bechtler and Nisha (Jeremy) Hurst; sixteen adored grandchildren, Raven, Dori, Lacey, Nautia, Bethany, Zachary, Joah, Drucilla, Liam, Owyn, Addison, Garren, Brayden, Westen, Bobby and Sandy; three treasured great-grandchildren, Isabella, Isaiah and Natalie; and four much loved siblings, Sheryl (Howard) Harriman, Teresia (Gary) McKenna, Jody (Robyn) Hale and Jay (Karen) Hale. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Pam Hale.
A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Pat Kracker Breast Cancer Fund or HomeCare Matters Hospice. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
