Charmaine Bush

Charmaine Beth Lester Bush, age 33, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. She was born June 14, 1975, Mansfield. Charmaine was employed at the Mansfield News Journal for 12 years, never missing a day of work, a testament to her persistent nature. She was a Girl Scout mom for Troop #419. She enjoyed singing, drinking her coffee, watching soap operas, wearing and collecting shoes, hats and scarves- especially in her favorite colors, purple and pink. Charmaine will fondly be remembered as a loving, funny, beautiful, happy woman with a heart of gold.

She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Benjamin David Bush; two daughters, Taylor Nicole Lester and Megan Kathryn Bush, both of Mansfield; two sons, David Benjamin Bush and Tristin Benjamin Bush, both of Mansfield; her parents, Victor and Melanie Stafford Lester of Mansfield; two brothers, Victor Shawn Lester of Bellville and Shannon Lester of Fredericktown; grandmother, Kathryn Stafford of Mansfield; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Curtis and Jennifer Bush of Mansfield; numerous other relatives including a nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins; several good friends; and her golden retriever, Buster. She was preceded in death by her son, Gabriel Benjamin Bush on December 17, 2001, and grandparents, Leon and Opal Lester and Clifford Stafford.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2008 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Andy Hupp officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
