
Chris R. Wagoner, 39, of Shiloh, died suddenly Thursday afternoon, January 17, 2008 at home. Born June 1, 1968 in Mansfield, he was the proud son of George "Sonny" and Elaine Hess Wagoner. He graduated from Madison High school and worked at Kokosing Construction for 20 years. Chris was an avid hunter, enjoyed long range rifle shooting, and tackling Kim's home improvement projects. He enthusiastically attended his children's athletic events, including soccer, track, softball, baseball, cross country and basketball at Crestview. He was a proud parent who attended Crestview High School drama plays and Euchre tournaments in which his children participated. Chris enjoyed selling raffle tickets at the Ontario Basketball games to benefit Ontario Cross Country. Chris was a loving and attentive husband. He was proud of Erin Marin's and Paysen's academic and athletic accomplishments. He was particularly proud of Paysen's distance running and Erin Marin's aggressiveness on the basketball court.
Surviving are his wife, Kim Yost Wagoner; daughter, Erin Marin Bramblett of Shiloh; son, Paysen Bramblett of Shiloh; parents, George "Sonny" and Elaine Wagoner of Mansfield; two sisters, Debbie Jack Lantz, and Lori Chris Sublett, all of Mansfield; nephews and nieces, Terren Yost, Brandon Thompson, Jack Lantz, Travis Lantz, Luke and Erica Yost, Samantha and Kelly Yost; mother-in-law, Jean Yost of Shiloh; cousin, Warren Hull of Powell, Ohio; and two dear friends, Al Zeiner of Bellville, and Jon Clark of Florida. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Harvey Yost.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2008 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. A private memorial service will be held in Ft. Recovery, Ohio at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Chris to the Crestview Athletic Boosters.
