She was born on July 22, 1980, in Shelby, Ohio to Alvin and Shirley Chacey. Christina worked at Mt. Vernon Developmental Center, where she took pride in her role shredding papers and being part of a caring community.
Christina’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her mother and her beloved son, Calvin. She cherished their walks and heartfelt conversations, moments that brought her deep happiness and peace. Her gentle nature, loving spirit, and quiet strength touched all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Calvin Chacey; her father, Alvin Chacey; and her brothers, Terry (Julie) Chacey and Mark (Stefanie) Chacey. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Christina was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Chacey.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, there will be no public services. Christina will be remembered privately by those who knew and loved her.
