Christine D. Curry, 80, of Mansfield passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 at her home. Christine was born on January 16, 1938 in Talladega, Alabama. She was the daughter of John Mark McGhee and Leatha (Jemisom) McGhee Strange.
Christine had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed working in her yard, playing her computer games, and she loved to cook.
Christine is survived by her children, Diane Ghosh of Houston, Jackie L. Morgan of Columbus, Sylvia (Marvin) Taylor of Rowlett, Texas, and Darlene (Henry) Henfield of Mansfield; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Georgia Holt-McGhee and Marilyn (James) Pinkston; and brothers, Mansfield (Polly) McGhee and Eugene (Zabralara) McGhee. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, John McGhee and Eddie McGhee.
Family may visit on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 pm at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 South Diamond Street. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery.
