Clancy Weikle

Clancy R. Weikle, 76, of Mansfield, Ohio died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, March 7, 2004 at MedCentral Mansfield. Mr. Weikle was born August 24, 1927 in West Virginia living in the Mansfield area since 1947. He retired from Stone Container. Clancy enjoyed woodworking and spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty Broyles Weikle; three children and spouses, Robert & Brenda Weikle of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Rick & Vivian Weikle of Sarton, West Virginia and Rick & Tina Hay of Galion; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Teresa, Justin, Samantha, Danielle and Heather; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Bessie Kirby of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania; three brothers, Howard Weikle of Sarton, West Virginia and Ernest and Billy Joe Weikle, both of Bellville; and five step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry R. & Annie Wickline Weikle; four sisters; and a brother.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Dan Turner. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
