She lived in the Columbus area most of her life. She enjoyed reading, quilting, traveling with her best friend Randy, and loved the Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers and Penguins. She sacrificed a lot for her family and worked endless hours to provide for them.
Determined, selfless and generous were her traits and helped as a caretaker for others with her unconditional love. She enjoyed collecting lighthouses and spoons. Claudia was a member of Maynard Avenue United Methodist Church; she loved serving in her church.
An alumna of Capital University, she worked for J. Edgar Hoover as an intern for the FBI in the early 60s. She worked at Nationwide Insurance for over 35 years and was church secretary at Maynard Avenue United Methodist Church for 10 years.
Claudia is survived by two sons, Brian (Terra) Erlenbach and Patrick (Melanie) Erlenbach; brother, John (Beverly) McDine; best friend of over 35 years, Randy Willey; five grandchildren, Caleb Erlenbach, Brianna Erlenbach, Mason Erlenbach, Madilynne Erlenbach, and Mathias Erlenbach; niece, Dawn (Bob Nelson) McDine; and nephew Shawn (Alicia) McDine.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private burial will take place at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
