Clifford L. "Rusty" Ernsberger, Jr., 69, of Mansfield, died Saturday, December 10, 2016 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born October 14, 1947 in Mansfield, he was the son of Clifford L. Ernsberger, Sr. and Zaleen (Hanna) Ernsberger.
Rusty graduated from Madison High School and was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He worked as a truck driver for USF Holland and was a member of the Teamsters Local #40 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a generous and giving man and loved to golf.
He is survived by four sons, Richard Ernsberger of Mansfield, Sam Featheringill of Mansfield, Tim Featheringill of Texas and Justin Means of Mansfield; a daughter, Darla (Mark) Jardine of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Ember Ernsberger, Logan Ernsberger, Kira Jardine and Katya Jardine; a brother, Russell (Becky) Ernsberger of Texas; and many nieces, nephews and other dear relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Ernsberger; a daughter, Carrie Ernsberger; and a brother, Orvy Ernsberger.
There will be no calling hours or services at this time.
