
Clyde T. Miller, 91, of Mansfield, died Saturday, December 5, 2009. Born August 9, 1918, in Webster Springs, West Virginia, he was the son of Thomas C. and Lona J. Miller Miller. A veteran of the United States Army, he served during World War II. Clyde retired from General Motors and was a member the Mansfield Freewill Baptist Church. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. #19 and the U.A.W. #549.
Surviving are a son and daughter in law, Robert and Lisa Miller of Mansfield; grandson, Kacy Miller of Mansfield; granddaughter Heather Miller of Mansfield; and great-granddaughter Whitney Creswell of Mansfield; sister, Thelma Keith; sister and brother-in-law, Bob and Manetha Barretta of Mansfield; sister-in-law, Toni Miller; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ella Mae Brown Miller; brothers, Emory Miller, Emmett Miller and Glen Miller; and sisters, Connie Frederick, Essie Miller and Wilma Talbert.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd, Mansfield. Funeral services conducted by Pastor Mark Bailey, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2009, Mansfield Freewill Baptist Church, 998 Laver Road, Mansfield with additional visitation from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will occur Thursday, December 10, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. in Floral Hills Memorial Garden, Clarksburg, WV.
